A THEATRE show with an all-star cast was called off one hour before curtain tonight.
The High Life: The Musical – Still Living It! was due to hit the King's Theatre stage this evening. However, it was cancelled due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.
The show stars Forbes Masson, Siobhan Redmond and Alan Cumming, and is a new musical revival of the 1990s BBC Scotland sitcom The High Life, following ageing Air Scotia cabin crew who must prove they are still “fit for purpose” after the airline is sold, or see it scrapped for good.
Taking to Instagram, the theatre said: "This evening’s (May 20, 7.30pm) performance of The High Life at the King’s Theatre Glasgow has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
"We apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience.
"Ticketholders will be contacted directly by ATG Entertainment."
No further details were provided.
It comes after the matinee went ahead as scheduled earlier today.
The King's Theatre has been contacted for comment.
