Scottish Love Island star almost unrecognisable in surprise throwback photo

There have been quite a few Scottish stars who made it big on the Love Island screen - but they all look completely different as youngsters.

This star is one of the stand-out Scottish influencers from the ITV show, but it is proven difficult to spot who she is immediately, as reported by the Scottish Sun.

But we won't leave you in the dark too long, as the star in the school photo is none other than runner-up of Love Island 2018, Laura Anderson.

The Stirling-born model looks almost unrecognisable in this picture that was snapped during her high school days.

Laura has made quite the culture change from Scotland, as she now lives in sunny Dubar with boyfriend, Another Level boyband fave Dane Bowers.

Laura previously worked as an air hostess before hitting the big-time on the dating reality show.

Laura also made her acting debut recently in a pantomime production, taking part in the UAE city's Christmas traditions.

The couple are now trying for a family. and she explained how they rekindled the love after both going through a spate of failed relationships.

She added: “I never thought I’d be able to trust Dane again, but I trust him more than anyone I’ve ever been with – even people who haven’t cheated.

“I don’t listen to outsiders when they say: 'People never change.'

“I’m not one to be told. My old flatmate always said I was most myself with Dane, so she was thrilled when we got back together.

“I went with my gut and it’s worked out so far.

“We’ve looked at engagement rings and we’re trying to have a baby, but it can take ages to conceive.

“It’s funny how you spend your youth trying not to get pregnant and then you’re like: “Oh my god, why is this not happening straight away?”

“While I wouldn’t wish the heartbreak I’ve been through on my worst enemy, I do think we all have to go through that to help us figure out what we want. I couldn’t be happier.”
