Scottish IT and security solutions provider Capito has been acquired by English reseller XMA.
XMA has confirmed that there will be no job losses following the acquisition and it will continue as “business as usual”.
Capito will continue to operate as a standalone business from its Livingston headquarters and retain the current management team.
It was established in 1990 as Computer Rentals Scotland and adopted its current name in 2000.
In 2006, Murray Capital, which invested in the business, backed a management buyout of the business.
XMA is a £400m turnover business, based in St Albans, with five offices across the UK - including Glasgow - and a workforce of more than 500.
