Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf says he will not suspend his predecessor Nicola Sturgeon after her arrest as part of a police inquiry into the finances of the governing, pro-independence Scottish National Party (SNP).
The police are investigating what happened to more than £600,000 ($1.1 million) in funding raised by Scottish independence campaigners in 2017 that was supposed to have been ring-fenced, but may have been used for other purposes.
