A Scottish couple has spoken of their joy at bringing their ‘miracle baby’ into the world after experiencing four miscarriages over the span of a decade.
Vikki Thomson, 39, and her partner, Martin Roxburgh, 50, welcomed their son Bobby George Roxburgh into their lives at the end of last year. They say that he was born 11 days earlier than expected weighing 7ib 1oz on December 12.
The couple, who reside in Denny, Falkirk, say that they had almost given up on their quest after eight years of trying. They had ceased their efforts when Vikki discovered that she had fallen pregnant with Bobby.
