Scottish Conference League mooted as basis for Premiership 'B' teams expansion

B’ Premiership Highland League Two Lowland League

Controversial plans have been unveiled for a new fifth tier Scottish Conference, which would feature Premiership 'B' teams against some from the Highland and Lowland Leagues.

It is claimed that Premiership clubs might be prepared to pay for the league with entry fees.

The new fifth tier would sit between League Two and the Highland and Lowland Leagues.
