New research has revealed the cheapest cities in the UK for a pint ahead of the summer, and one Scottish spot is included.
With the weather already warming up, people across the country will be looking to head to the nearest beer garden and enjoy a refreshing pint.
However, with the cost of living crisis hitting household budgets, it is important to know where you can get the most for your money. According to Comparethemarket, there has been a 1 per cent increase in the number of people that find the cost of a pint to be 'unaffordable'.
The price comparison website therefore analysed the average price in the 40 most populated UK cities, revealing Aberdeen as among the least expensive. It found that the average price is £3.10, cheaper than any other Scottish city.
With its popular beach, famous for its golden sands, Aberdeen is a great spot to head this summer and enjoy a pint in the sun without breaking the bank. According to travel site TripAdvisor, its top bars and pubs include The Wild Boar, Revolucion de Cuba Aberdeen, and Molly Malones.
Meanwhile, the least expensive spot anywhere in the nation is Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, where a pint costs on average just £2.75 according to the research. Bradford, Kingston upon Hull, Derby were found to be the second cheapest spots, where you can expect to pay around £3.00.
