A BRIDGE in the Borders is set to close eastbound for up to 10 weeks as major refurbishment works begin.
Galafoot Bridge, on the A6091 near Galashields, will close on Sunday, October 4 to eastbound traffic and work to refurbish the deck of the bridge is expected to take between six and ten weeks to complete.
