A BUSY road in the Scottish Borders was closed by police following a two-vehicle crash outside a hotel.
Emergency services were called to the A708 at the Gordon Arms Hotel, Yarrow, near Selkirk, following reports of a crash involving a car and a motorbike at around 12 noon on Sunday.
The driver of the car and the motorcyclist were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police said the A708 was closed at the hotel while the emergency services respond to the incident. It has since reopened.
Drivers were asked to use alternative routes while the road was shut for around three hours.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A708 is closed at the Gordon Arms Hotel, Yarrow, near Selkirk, following a two-vehicle crash that happened around 12 noon on Sunday, 19 July.
“Road users are advised to avoid the area.”
