Scottish biker has leg amputated after horror Miami crash and stranded in US

A Scottish holidaymaker has been left stranded in the US after having his leg amputated following a horrific crash in Miami.

Keen biker Jordan Pearson, 28, had received a surprise ticket for Christmas to the GVO Biking Event in the US on February 18 this year from his mum Leighan. It was a trip of a lifetime that soon turned into a holiday from hell after he was left fighting for his life when he was crashed into by a hit and run driver.

Speaking to the Daily Record, mum Leighan recalled the haunting phoning call she received as Jordan was screaming for help before the phone disconnected.
