Scottish accent is voted 'most attractive' in the UK - full list

New research has revealed the UK accents that the public finds the most and least attractive - and Scottish has come out on top.

With so many regional accents across the nation, everyone will have their own preference for what they like and dislike. However, it is no secret that the Scottish accent is popular with many people across the UK and beyond.

The new study by experts at telecommunications company TollFreeForwarding seems to confirm this. In a survey they carried out among 2,000 members of the public, 15 per cent of respondents named Scottish as the most appealing in the UK.
