Celtic legend Scott Brown says Frank Lampard was one of the first to message him about becoming Fleetwood Town manager as the pair prepare to face off.
The former midfielder is in the early stages of his first boss job and his biggest challenge yet awaits him on Tuesday night when Premier League side Everton, managed by Lampard, come to Highbury Stadium. Brown's side have started the English League One season with six points from five games and a League Cup win against Wigan.
A huge jump in quality awaits on Tuesday and the trophy-laden Celtic great can't wait, even if he is rotating with league business very much the priority: "Everyone in the dressing room is excited and looking forward to the match. There will probably have to be a few changes in midweek because the lads have been relentless and have been working extremely hard.
