Scott Arfield has been tipped to move to the MLS when his Rangers contract expires.
The 34-year-old has featured 40 times in all competitions this season and provided nine goals but the majority of those minutes on the park have come from the bench. Michael Beale has preferred to use the likes of Todd Cantwell, John Lundstram, Nicolas Raskin and Malik Tillman before his season ending injury with the USA international back at Bayern Munich.
Arfield is out of contract in the summer with no fresh updates on his future. Alfredo Morelos will leave and Ryan Kent is expected to follow. Allan McGregor is another heading out with veteran team-mate Steven Davis also in the final weeks of terms. A big summer of change is coming at Ibrox with a number of ins and outs expected across the window.

An Ibrox departure wouldn't come as a surprise to many for Arfield as a new contract signed in Govan would likely mean another role from the bench and the odd start. That reason alone is enough for Celtic hero Peter Grant to believe he will indeed depart and reckons he will end up in the MLS. He is a huge fan of the midfielder who has 'too much to offer' and will want to play as much as possible at his age.
Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, the former Hoops man said: "He's been available and the manager hasn't used him. You know what I think of him, I think he's a threat all the time he's on the football pitch. He's still got great energy for a senior player.
"But for me, it looks as if all arrows are pushing him out the door really. I think he'll end up going to the MLS or something like that, obviously with the Canada connection.
"I think when you're getting to that age, you want to play as much as you can and I look at him from afar and think 'he's the sort of kid who will want to play all the time'.
"He won't be willing to sit in the stand or go through another season of not playing because he's got too much to offer. It's alright us sitting here saying he's great to stay around about the club and be a massive part of it. But I had an opportunity to stay at Celtic Park and I would never have done that."
