Scottish youngster in 'race against time' to get custom wheelchair for high school

An East Lothian youngster faces a race against time to secure a life changing powered wheelchair in time to start high school in August.

Louis MacDiarmid, who was born with Spina Bifida, is paralysed from the waist down but has grown out of his current setup which was fitted four years ago.

The Hibs fanatic, 12, is now desperate to sort out a replacement in a bid for more independence before stepping up to Dunbar Grammar School later this year.
