The daughter of a Scots tycoon has been targeted with vile graffiti slurs at a posh gym weeks after a car was firebombed outside her home.
Graphic messages aimed at Jennifer McLeish, whose dad is railway maintenance firm QTS founder, Alan McLeish, were found spray painted on the wall of the David Lloyd gym, in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, at around 6.30am this morning.
The incident comes just 12 days after a car was deliberately set alight outside the 36-year-old's Bothwell home in a suspected gangland vendetta.
Thugs are believed to have driven a car to her gate before setting it alight and fleeing at around 7.45pm on January 7.
In November 2020 Jennifer's £500,000 home, next door to former Celtic player Leigh Griffiths, was petrol bombed and her Range Rover was set alight.
Her beauty salon, House of Aesthetics in Duke Street, Dennistoun, was ramraided a month later on December 16, forcing her to shut up shop.
A video sent to the Record after the attack on her shop showed a car reversing forcefully into the front of the building.
Two men in balaclavas get out and attempt to get into the shop.
One hits it with a hammer or crowbar then leaps back into the car before it speeds away. A car was later torched in nearby Grierson Street.
Police said they were not officially linking the crimes but sources believed the same gang was responsible for the attacks.
Speaking at the time, one told the Record: “Both attacks came within a few weeks of each other and there’s no doubt that serious criminals are trying to intimidate Jennifer McLeish.
"This would not appear to be anything to do with her own family or her father being wealthy.”
McLeish sold QTS – based in Strathaven, Lanarkshire – for £80million in 2018 after starting the business with the help of a £300 loan from his mum Anne.
Jennifer’s step-mum Phyllis, who split from Alan two years ago, is on the board at Kilmarnock FC.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing following a report of a vandalism at a premises in Mote Hill, Hamilton.
"The matter was reported to police around 6.30 am on Thursday 19 January, 2023."
