Scots train route makes CNN Travel 'world's most incredible rail journeys' list

A Glasgow train route has been dubbed one of the 'world's most incredible rail journeys' by CNN Travel.

The West Highland Line, which runs from Glasgow Queen Street to Mallaig, has been named in the international broadcaster's top 10 list of incredible rail trips.

Operated by ScotRail, the five hour journey travels through the Glasgow outskirts before heading north through Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, to Tyndrum and Rannoch Moor and Fort William, before arriving at the port in Lochaber.
