A Scots homeowner has told of his horror after he claims he was woken up in the middle of the night by an intruder crawling along his bedroom floor.
Police have made two arrests after a number of houses were targeted in Glenrothes, Fife, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officers received reports of break-ins to three properties in the Marmion Drive, Ivanhoe Drive and Waverley Drive areas of the town.
In one incident, a local resident took to social media to appeal for information after he woke up to find the home invader in his room.
He said: "Three houses have been broken into this morning in the Caskieberran area (my house included) - Marmion Drive, Ivanhoe Drive and Waverley Drive.
"Around 4am, I was woken up to someone crawling on my bedroom floor.
"Anyone with a Ring Doorbell or CCTV footage, please contact me so I can pass it into the police."
A picture taken from a doorbell camera was shared on social media of a man locals believed to have been involved in the robberies.
Officers confirmed two men, aged 22 and 31, have been arrested in connection with the incidents.
Cops say their enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received reports of break-ins to three properties in the Marmion Drive, Ivanhoe Drive and Waverley Drive areas of Glenrothes, which took place in the early hours of Sunday, April 3.
"We can confirm that two men, aged 22 and 31, have been arrested in connection with the incidents and enquiries remain ongoing."
