A police officer rained punches on a father and tried to bite him several times after a dispute over a children's football match.
Darren Moore flew into a rage and punched Derek Wemyss around the head and body as a disagreement over the match turned to violence.
Dundee Sheriff Court was told that it was the second time in two months that disgraced Moore had been convicted of assault.
