Scots police launch appeal for 63-year-old missing since Wednesday morning

Police are hunting for a South Lanarkshire woman who has been missing for over 24 hours.

Officers are appealing to anyone with information about the whereabouts of Margaret Loudon from Cambuslang to come forward.

The 63-year-old was last seen about 11.30am on Wednesday April 2O on Tabernacle Street, at the back of the town's main road.

Her current whereabouts are unknown.

The Cambuslang woman is described as having a medium build and last seen wearing a black jacket, grey top, black trousers and black shoes.

It is believed Margaret may also have been carrying a bag.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone who may have seen Margaret since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 1406 of 20th April 2022."
