A 100-year-old Scots woman was one of the last people to get a card from the Queen in celebration of her centenary.
Mary Ingham posed for pictures with her special card pride of place from the monarch on Tuesday.
She has lived at Balhousie Care Home, Huntly, Aberdeenshire, since 2017.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passed away at Balmoral yesterday afternoon, following an incredible 70-year reign. A well loved tradition for many is receiving a card from the royal on their 100th birthday.
She celebrated with a cake, flowers, and a visit from a piper and Highland dancers.
Acting manager Andrew Chalmers-Gall said:"Mary's 100th celebrations were a joy, with staff making sure we gave her the celebration she deserved, including cake flowers, a piper and Highland dancers.
"She had a huge smile on her face all day."
