A Scots woman whose depression turned out to be Alzheimer's was given a day of 'freedom' before her family told her about her diagnosis

Mum Linda Sutherland, from Erskine, was diagnosed with the disease weeks before her 60th birthday, after suffering from a short temper, weight loss and memory loss.

The 68-year-old blamed the changes on depression after the death of her husband Ronnie.
