A devoted Scots pet owner has shared adorable images of his pampered hamsters munching their way through delicious miniature home-cooked meals.
Anton Allan, 22, from Paisley, spoils his two Syrian hamsters, called Mr Marshmallow and Mr Liquorice, with a range of delicious meals including curries, pasta dishes and sweet treats such as cheesecake and pumpkin pie.
The two hamsters Mr Marshmallow, two years old, and Mr Liquorice, a few months old, have had over 100 different meals made for them by their owner, who has been setting up little scenarios for his pets to enjoy and relax in.
Anton said: "I first started by doing taste tests with my hamsters to figure out what they like. The first thing Mr Marshmallow ever tried was some watermelon, and he loved it.
"At the start, I just tried him on some different fruits and veggies but then I decided I wanted to start making him some meals to try. So I did a bunch of research and followed some recipes I found online, but then I decided I wanted to try and make my own things for him.
"I made him spaghetti with a sauce, a hamster-friendly cheesecake, and apple pie. Since then I have made a bunch of new things for him to try like, a curry, marshmallows, pumpkin pie and many more.
"I have so much fun thinking of new things for him to try because he absolutely loves his food. It's very rare that I find something that Mr Marshmallow doesn't like.
"Mr Liquorice is still new so he hasn't tried too many things yet, but he did try some pancakes for pancake day and he really enjoyed them."
