Scots man missing for two days as as police 'increasingly concerned' for welfare

An urgent search has been launched for a missing man last seen two days ago.

Police are currently trying to locate Christopher Gibson, from East Lothian, as they grow increasingly concerned.

Christopher was last seen around 2.30pm on Wednesday, February 15, in the Tranent area.

He is described as being a white male, 5ft 7 in height and of stocky build, with dark hair. He is believed to be wearing a dark puffer jacket.

It is thought Christopher may have travelled to England on Wednesday but police are keen to trace him as soon as possible.

A Police Scotland statement said: “Police in East Lothian are growing increasingly concerned for Christopher Gibson, who was reported missing to Police on 16th February.

"He was last seen around 1430hrs on 15th February in the Tranent area and is described as Male, 5ft 7 in height, stocky build, dark hair and is usually wearing a dark puffer jacket.

"Christopher may have travelled into England on the 15th.”
