A Scots footballer was stunned after discovering a herd of cows rampaging through a housing estate during a late night break-out.
Forfar Athletic star Craig Slater shared the hilarious clip after spotting the unusual scenes through the window of a home while checking on a car.
The midfielder posted the clip on Twitter which shows the herd marching down the road past houses in the dark on Friday night.
One of the cows appears to take a fancy to a bush in the garden of a neighbouring property, giving it a vigorous rub with its head.
A woman’s voice in the video can be heard saying: “He’s in that hedge, he’s in that tree. What is he doing?”
A passing motorist in a white car was stopped in their tracks by the animals, who then decided to race across the road to catch up with their pals.
Craig added: “What’s that motor doing? I would not be sitting there.”
The woman then adds: “They can run fast… ‘Wait on me boys’.”
The clip has now been viewed more than 4000 times.
Slater started his professional football career with St Mirren but left in 2012 to join Kilmarnock.
