A family home has been left burnt out and a second property damaged after a devastating caravan fire in Fife.
Fire crews were called to the inferno after flames took hold of a property in Kilmux Park, in the village of Kennoway, at around 5pm on Friday.
It is understood the family who live at the property were out for the day when the blaze spread from a neighbour's caravan to their home.
No one was injured but the home owners have lost everything in the fire.
At the height of the blaze, six fire engines were in attendance with water being pumped overhead onto the house.
Images taken at the scene show thick, black smoke billowing over the village in the aftermath of the fire.
Further images show the charred framework of the house still smoking after the roof collapsed.
One witness told the Record: "The house has been gutted, as has the caravan.
"We saw the smoke and flames, we initially thought it was a shed fire until we realised it was worse.
"My neighbour is a fireman, he was off-duty when it happened. He ran over but the fire was too established for him to do anything alone.
"The house where the caravan was parked beside had a little damage too.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We received a call at 5:12pm on Friday, 13 May to reports of a property alight on Kilmux Park, Kennoway.
""Two crews from Methil were mobilised at the time of call.
"At the height of the incident, a total of six appliances, one command support unit and one high reach appliance attended this incident.
"This included appliances from Methil, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Coupar and Blackness Road.
"This fire involved one caravan and two properties.
"Crews were using four breathing apparatus, two thermal image cameras, two high power hose reel jets and one main jet to extinguish the fire.
"There have been no reported injuries."
