Tributes have poured in for Tyler Green after the Rangers-daft rapper passed away this morning.
Tyler, from Govanhill, was part of the rap duo Triple01s and only revealed earlier this month he only had months to live after a shock cancer diagnosis.
In the Twitter video, he revealed he was first diagnosed with bone cancer in May last year but after 12 months of intensive chemotherapy, was informed it had spread to his lungs and there was nothing doctors could do.
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos gave the drill duo his seal of approval last year after they released a song in his honour.
They followed that up earlier this year by announcing they had signed a deal with Warner Records and filmed the video for their latest track, Ayo, at Ibrox Stadium.
Tyler's passing was announced on Triple01s social media this morning with a photo of him in bed alongside the other half of the Triple01s duo Shakar, known as YSK.
The post stated: "It is with great sadness that we announce Tyler passed peacefully with his closest loved ones by his side at 2:20am this morning.
"Surely, we belong to Allah and verily to him do we return. RIP Tyler.
"A kid who touched every life he encountered in his journey through life, putting himself last before everyone he loved. It is indescribable to put into words the character he truly was. A fighter like no other.
"Even through his toughest battle yet he showed us all his willingness to win and fight like he did throughout his life."
Rangers Football Club paid their respects to Tyler, who was also known as Trigga, under the post.
They said: "RIP Tyler. The thoughts of everyone at Rangers are with Tyler's family and friends."
Punters lined up to pay tribute to Tyler and called for a minute silence at their fixture against Bayern Leverkusen this afternoon.
One said: "So sorry for your loss such a talented young guy who will be sorely missed. Rest easy Tyler."
Another said: "It feels like we all just got a glimpse into a whole world of potential. Life can be incredibly cruel. Sending love and thoughts to the friends and family during this hard time."
Someone added: "Horrible news glad to hear he went peacefully. He will be forever remembered."
Glasgow Central Mosque announced a funeral prayer for Tyler will take place this afternoon at 1pm.
He is to be buried in the Muslim section at Linn Park cemetery but no funeral arrangements have been released at this stage.
