Scots DJ Ewan McVicar received a brand new award from Still Game icons Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill.
The Ayrshire disc jockey has had a belter of a week so far and has teased that even more exciting things are coming. He was the first ever person to receive the Still Game duo's 'Lucky Donkey Golden Bottle' - a bottle of Jack and Victor Blended Scotch Whisky.
Taking to Instagram to share the good news, the stars wrote: "Delighted to award the fantastic and brilliant @ewanmcvicar_ the first ever “Lucky Donkey Golden Bottle”!!! These bottles will be handed out to truly amazing Scottish talent and we are delighted Ewan is the first recipient especially after winning the Electronic award at Saturdays Scottish Music. Awards!!! #goldenbottle #luckydonkey #jackandvictor #stillgame #stillhereinspirit #ewanmcvicar."
Over the weekend the Tell Me Something Good hitmaker scooped another award at the Specsavers Scottish Music Awards. Taking to Twitter to announce the exciting news, he wrote: "aye so a won the ‘electronic music’ award last night at the scottish music awards thanks everyone for all the support this year & thanks to my home @SubClub & @BallantinesSA for nominating me, means the absolute world."
And it seems that the good news doesn't stop there for the 28-year-old as he teased on Twitter that his biggest announcement is yet to come. He wrote: "gearing up to announce my biggest dream come true soon this is gonny be f****n mental."
Ewan shared his secret with the Daily Record and it's safe to say, it's going to be a belter! All will be revealed shortly.
