A Scots dad was left semi-paralysed and wheelchair-bound after problems with his balance issues turned out to be cancer.

Jamie Fairweather, from Gullane in East Lothian, realised something wasn't right with his bodily stability while on a trip to Mallorca with his family in May. The 61-year-old was struggling to cycle on a bike and was finding it difficult to play golf during the holiday.
