Scots cops open probe into 'unexplained' death of man in Glasgow

Police have opened an investigation after a 29-year-old man was found dead at a property in Glasgow.

Officers descended on Arnhall Place in the Mosspark area, near Bellahouston Park, shortly before 9am on Thursday, February 17.

Locals reported seeing police vehicles and two ambulances in the area.

Police officers were spotted in the street for several hours afterwards as enquiries were carried out.

Police Scotland has since confirmed that it had been called to the sudden death of a 29-year-old man, which remains unexplained.

Enquiries are ongoing in order to ascertain how the man died. His name has not been released.

A force spokesperson told the Record: “Officers were called to a property on Arnhall Place in Glasgow around 8.55am on Thursday, 17 February, 2022, following the sudden death of a 29-year-old man.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
