A castle in the northeast is set to play host to a very special dinosaur event this autumn. According to the National Trust for Scotland, the "most realistic" dinosaur puppets in the UK are on their way to Brodie Castle in October.

A fantastic day out for the family in Forres, the charity confirmed that no less than six fantastic dinos will be there on the day including 7m long Tyrannosaurus Rex, Suzie, and the 6.5m long Apatosaurus, Nessie.

Posting on social media, the National Trust wrote: "If you missed out on tickets for Jurassic Live in Inverness - don't worry! You can still come meet the dinosaurs at Brodie Castle.

"Get your photo taken with Suzie, Nessie, and four more of their friends. Watch them walk around Playful Garden roaring. And speak with their rangers to learn more about them.

"Make sure your holidays include a load of Jurassic fun!"

Running from October 17 to October 20, you can book tickets here.

Dinosaur fans can watch as they walk around the castle's garden, as well as learn more about each species by speaking with their rangers. The NTS confirmed there will also be a chance to have your photo taken which each of these fascinating and thrilling dinosaurs.
