Scots band The Vintage Explosion performed on This Morning after Sir Rod Stewart's endorsement skyrocketed their career.
Sir Rod, 78, declared the Scots singer had "the best white-soul voice I've heard since Frankie Miller" after being sent a YouTube clip of The Vintage Explosion performing.
Speaking to a journalist, the Hoops-daft singer declared his love for the band and showed a video of the group performing A Change Is Gonna Come and asked for The Vintage Explosion to get a special mention in the piece.
The band appeared on Thursday's instalment of the ITV chat show to discuss their newfound fame, thanks to Sir Rod. Speaking to hosts Alison Hammond and Craig O'Doyle, lead-singer William Hitchell said the recognition had changed his life.
"To get an endorsement from a worldwide star is just what you would completely dream of as an artist," the 42-year-old vocalist said. "We've got two live albums out already and we've got our first studio album coming out in Summer. We've got a tour booked for next year."
Sharing the love with the entire band, Irish broadcaster Craig declared: "No one ever chats to the drummer," before rushing over. Gushing over their newfound success, he said: "It's pretty amazing just to be doing things like this. It's mad."
He added: "It's gone from being just a normal musician just working away in Scotland to now all over the UK and meeting people like you guys. It's mad."
Following the impressive live performance, viewers took to Twitter to praise the Scots band. One tweeted: "@band_vintage are fantastic! Both albums downloaded after watching that! @thismorning @rodstewart well done promoting this band. I hope they go on to big things! #ThisMorning."
Another added: "Brilliant band! Something different #thismorning."
A third penned: "Laughing at @AlisonHammond on this morning dancing with that band ! She really cheers me up, please @thismorning put @Rylan with her that would be fantastic and really cheery. Love watching them two @richardaylett @KarenMisprint62 #great entertainment."
