ScotRail announce emergency timetable due to rail crew shortages

ScotRail has confirmed that an emergency timetable will be implemented due to rail crew shortages and a derailment incident at Coatbridge Sunnyside.

Customers have been asked to check journey travel times due to the disruption which will impact the majority of the Central Belt.

In a statement, ScotRail said: "As a result of substantial train crew shortages and our on-going derailment incident at Coatbridge Sunnyside, an Emergency Timetable will be implemented on the North Clyde route for start of service tomorrow.
