THE Met Office have issued a new yellow weather warning for Scotland.
The yellow warning is in place across eastern parts of Scotland from Thursday at 12 noon until Saturday at 12 noon.
The forecaster said an area of low pressure will bring further rainfall to a region reeling after Storm Babet.
At least seven people are thought to have died in the weather event, while hundreds were forced to flee their homes in Scotland.
The forecaster tweeted of the forthcoming weather: “An area of low pressure becomes firmly in charge over the next few days to bring plenty of showers and further rainfall, especially to parts of eastern Scotland.”
