Scotland weather as Met Office predicts early spring scorcher to last for several days

Scots are set to bake in another early spring scorcher today, according to the latest weather forecast.

The Met Office is anticipating temperatures to peak into their mid-to-late teens across large parts of the country later on Tuesday afternoon.

Forecasters expect the warmest of temperatures to hit the south west of the country, with a high of 18C expected in and around Dumfries.
