Scotland fans heading from Ayrshire to Hampden for tomorrow night's crunch World Cup play-off have been given a trains boost.
Extra ScotRail services are set to run in the midst of the temporary timetable chaos for the crucial match with Ukraine in Glasgow.
Last services back to the region were chopped back from last Monday with some trains last departures from Glasgow as early at 6pm.
But with Scotland's crucial World Cup play-off semi-final going ahead this week, the rail operator have added on extra services to get the Tartan Army home.
ScotRail shared details of their updated last services for Wednesday night.
The last train to leave for Ayrshire will now depart at 11.30pm, instead of 10pm - with the service running to Ayr.
But fans in Ardrossan, Largs and Kilmarnock will have to make other arrangements, with no additional services being put added on those routes.
Instead the last services to the North Ayrshire towns will be at 7.45pm from Glasgow Central and the final rain departing at 7.33pm — 12 minutes before kick-off.
ScotRail bosses have urged fans to plan ahead and check timetables ahead of heading to the match which kick offs at 7.45pm.
Phil Campbell, ScotRail Head of Customer Operations, said:“We know this is a massive match for the Scottish national team and we are looking forward to helping supporters travel to Hampden to play their part in the occasion. It's an honour to welcome Ukraine fans to Glasgow.
“We’ll be doing everything we can to support fans travelling to the games by adding additional services where we can and more seats to trains where possible.
"The temporary timetable will still be in place, so it is important that fans plan ahead to make sure they are aware of their options for both getting into the city, and for completing their journey home.
“Regular commuters who travel home from Glasgow on the line via Mount Florida should be aware that services will be much busier than normal on Wednesday night with fans heading to the match.”
