Angus Gunn and Greg Taylor out of Scotland squad as two replacements called up

Steve Clarke has called up two more uncapped players to his Scotland squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures amid a further injury blow.

First-choice goalkeeper Angus Gunn and Celtic’s Greg Taylor have both withdrawn from the double-header against Croatia and Portugal due to injuries picked up last week.

It means Kilmarnock’s Robby McCrorie has been recalled to the squad while Aberdeen left-back Jack McKenzie has been handed a maiden call-up.

McKenzie will become the fourth uncapped player to receive a first senior call-up, along with Dons teammate Nicky Devlin, Preston North End centre-back Liam Lindsay and West Ham midfielder Andy Irving.

Scotland resume their Nations League A campaign on Saturday when they face Croatia in Zagreb before returning to Hampden to take on Portugal the following Tuesday.
