Scotland is in for more weather chaos this weekend, as warnings are in place across the country for snow, ice - and wildfires.
The Met Office has issued a yellow alert for snow and ice on Saturday and Sunday, after Storm Larissa blasted through the UK, resulting in treacherous conditions. Temperatures plummeted to -15C in the Highlands on Friday after the same region saw the coldest night of the year so far at -16c in Altnaharra.
Meanwhile, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is urging the public to take care in the countryside as an "extreme" wildfire warning is in place for the southwest on Saturday, March 11, while a "very high" alert is in place for central-eastern Scotland on the same day.
