In a disappointing turn of events, Scotland's one-day international cricket match against Oman was abandoned on Tuesday evening due to torrential rain at Forfarshire.
The decision to call off the ICC CWC League 2 match was made just after 6pm, with the hosts requiring only 25 runs to secure a victory.
A tweet from Cricket Scotland read: "𝙈𝘼𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙉𝘿𝙊𝙉𝙀𝘿. Unfortunately there will be no result as the rain continues to fall. Next up Namibia on Saturday. #FollowScotland."

Earlier in the day, the Scottish team had bowled out Oman for 123 runs, with debutant Jasper Davidson taking an impressive four wickets.
The home side's response started strongly, with opener George Munsey scoring a quick-fire 47 off 35 balls, helping Scotland reach 99 for 2.
However, the inclement weather put a halt to the proceedings at 3:30 pm, forcing the match to be abandoned without a result.
Scotland will now look to bounce back when they face Namibia at Forfarshire Cricket Club on Saturday, hoping to get their campaign back on track in the ICC CWC League 2 tournament.
