BBC One's Scotland's Home of the Year returned to our screens last night for the sixth season, but viewers weren't too happy with the first episode.
The winner of the first episode was The Old Train House and the former Bonnington railway station turned family home was a firm favourite with the judges over the two other east coast homes.
The abode scored a perfect 30 from judges Danny Campbell, Anna-Campbell Jones and Banjo Beale, and the Alexandra Apartment in Kirkcaldy scored 29 out of 30.
Mount Frost in Fife placed third, scoring 25 out of 30.
The stunning home in Edinburgh will now feature in the final this summer however, some viewers said they felt the property was too "pretentious" and "too expensive".
Many fans of the show took to Twitter to talk about the first episode of the show.
One wrote: "#SHOTY Pretentious p******* at it finest.
"Majority of Scotland's kids live in poverty and Good old Beeb allows rich ********* to show how haughty & pompous they can be. Public Broadcasting at its worst."
Another said: "Is the scoring out of 15 nowadays? Can't keep giving maximum points! That means it's the greatest house ever. #shoty."
Whilst one added: "To afford that I would need to win the ******** lottery #shoty."
Another viewer penned: "Pretty sure I can put loads of plants and **** in a house and get a 10 from #shoty."
While one added: "First home a 10? Are you lot drinking? #shoty."
One wrote: "How is this first house even in contention? #SHOTY."
And finally, one added: "#shoty is painfully predictable.
"And yes, I know taste is subjective, but I much preferred the wee Kirkcaldy place - tighter budget, smaller space, but far more of the owner's own creativity. Not bougie enough for the judges though. Bah."
The new series continues on BBC One Scotland and BBC iPlayer on Monday, May 22.
