It was a disappointing night for Scotland as they went down 3-1 against the Auld Enemy.
Steve Clarke's side were outclassed on the celebration of international football's oldest fixture.
Phil Foden and Jude Bellingham struck in the first half and while a Harry Maguire own goal provided hope for the hosts at Hampden, Harry Kane sealed the deal.
Here's how the Scotland players fared on the night...
Angus Gunn 7
Could’ve been better with his long passes. Made an outstanding save from Eze to keep his team in the game and had other decent stops.
Aaron Hickey 4
Slack in getting back after getting caught up the field on the England attacks. This happened on several occasions. Turned inside and out by Bellingham moments before the England player scored.
Ryan Porteous 7
Made some crucial interceptions at the last-gasp early doors. One in particular Kane looked clear through on goal. Battled well. Individually, another fine performance.
Jack Hendry 5
Good positional play to deny a certain goal for Kane in the opening half hour. But part of the cluster of players drawn to the ball in the lead-up to the opener which saw Marcus Rashford afforded too much space in the box.
Kieran Tierney 5
Also drawn towards Bellingham on the edge of the area at the first. Maybe not as domineering as he is capable of when up against Kane. Did his job by stepping out at the third, but nobody covered.
Andy Robertson 4
Couldn’t get out to Kyle Walker quick enough to stop his cross at the opener. An absolute howler at the second, teeing up Bellingham to score. Simply had to clear his lines. However, great endeavour to spark a brief Scotland comeback.
Scott McTominay 5
The talisman struggled to get into any real flow. Caught in possession far too easily at times. No lack of desire, but failed to show the same levels of quality as done previously.
Billy Gilmour 6
Took the ball off the defence as the deepest-lying midfielder. Put himself about and certainly didn’t shy away from the challenge of going up against Bellingham, often winning free kicks, and getting his body in front of his opponent.
Callum McGregor 6
Took a little bit of time to get into the game, same could be said of plenty of his teammates. Tried to get his foot on the ball, pick passes and create different angles to start off attacking movements.
John McGinn 5
An unusually quiet game for a key player. Had a great chance to score with a free header from Robertson’s cross, but fluffed his lines.
Che Adams 4
Incredibly isolated up top. Not necessarily a criticism of the Southampton striker, but he just failed to get involved. Did show some flashes of decent hold-up play, but the gulf in the two teams was highlighted in forward areas.

Offered a different threat but again saw little action.
Ryan Christie (for Adams, 59’) 6
A very bright display from the attacker. Made a difference and gave the team a lift. Almost as if he had a point to prove to Clarke.
