The new Scotland 150th anniversary kit goes on sale today.
The Tartan Army are desperate to get their hands on the special edition strip from Adidas, which is being launched to mark the Scottish FA’s 150th anniversary. It will make its Hampden debut on Saturday, when Steve Clarke’s men kick-off their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign in front of a sell-out crowd at the national stadium .It will then get another outing in six months time when we face England. A friendly has been arranged for 12 September, 2023 to mark 150 years since the first international as we take on the Auld Enemy in Glasgow once again.
The shirt is sure to prove popular, with fans taking to social media expressing their love for the new design when it was unveiled earlier this month. It features a white, round necked collar in the style of the first Scotland strip, as well as the blacked out Adidas manufacturer’s logo. The trim on the sleeves is black and white hoops in a nod to Queen’s Park, whose players made up the bulk of the very first Scotland squad.
