A Scots nurse has been left with mounting debt and fears she might lose her job after suffering from long covid for nearly two years.
Cass MacDonald, from Edinburgh, continues to suffer symptoms of the virus after catching it in during the first wave of the pandemic in April 2020 and has been forced to take time off work.
The 46-year-old was floored with the disease and as her condition continued to deteriorate ten days later, she was nearly hospitalised.
