Scot left in coma for weeks after alleged murder bid wakes up with brain damage

The brother of a 30-year-old Scot who slipped into a five-week coma after an alleged murder bid has told of the heartbreaking daily struggle he faces while recovering from brain damage.

Jamie Hood was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries after he was found at a block of flats on Gerrard Street, Aberdeen on December 6.

Two women, aged 36 and 29, and a 35-year-old man were charged in connection with the incident and are due to appear in court.
