North east energy industry veterans Conrad Ritchie, Robert Murdoch and Ankush Khosla - formerly of Peterhead’s Score Group - have set up a new company.
EXS Group has been established to provide valve solutions to the North American market initially.
The trio have combined global experience of more than 80 years in flow control and are planning to become the premier valve solution provider.
With unspecified "significant investment", the company has been established in the US and Canada and is aiming to employ more than 50 people in the first 12 months.
Ritchie said: “We will look to develop and grow a talented global workforce whose focus is going to be on delivering cutting-edge solutions and unrivalled service, with emphasis on environmental sustainability, health and safety and corporate social responsibility.”
Murdoch added: “We have unrivalled experience of valve systems, and the investment in a comprehensive range of products and services will ensure that, from day one, we deliver exceptional quality and unparalleled customer support.”
Khosla concluded: “EXS Group has been founded with an extensive product portfolio and expert technical support to provide comprehensive valve services, custom valve solutions with expedited delivery and unmatched customer service.
“Initially centred in the North American market, the group will support customers globally.”
With a range of products, custom engineering capabilities and a focus on sustainability, EXS Group is aiming to become a leader in the valve distribution and service market.
