Scientists capture deepest fish ever recorded on camera off Japan’s coast

A fish swimming over 8km below the sea level off Japan’s coast has been captured on camera by scientists, making it the deepest recorded fish to ever have been photographed.

Researchers, including those from the University of Western Australia, filmed the snailfish of the genus Pseudoliparis, which was swimming at about 8,336m, or about 27,349ft, reported BBC News.
