BHUBANESWAR: Odisha government has decided to suspend schools for next five days from Tuesday till April 29 across the state in view of the prevailing heatwave conditions. However, the board exams for class XII and X will be held as per the schedule from April 28 and 29 respectively.
“In view of the heatwave situation in the state, government after careful consideration have been pleased to suspend the classes of Educational Institutions under school and mass education department, government aided and privately managed (Odia and English medium) from April 26 to April 30 9except for examination which has already been scheduled by BSE and CHSE),” the government notification said.
