Schoolgirl, 11, dies after going missing at water park

An 11-year-old girl died after going missing at a Berkshire water park.

Emergency services were called to the incident at Liquid Leisure Windsor at around 3.55pm on Saturday (August 6). An "extensive" search of the lake was then carried out.

The girl was found at around 5.10pm and taken to Wexham Park Hospital, where she died. Her death is currently being treated as unexplained and police have launched an investigation, reports Berkshire Live.
