Police in Renfrewshire are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious assault in Linwood.
Around 9.25pm on Saturday, April 9 a 15-year-old boy sustained a serious facial injury when he was assaulted with a weapon by another male youth in Middleton Road, Linwood.
He was taken to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The suspect is described as being around 15 to 17-years-old, around 5ft 7in in height, with brown/light ginger hair and spoke with a local accent. He was wearing a black T-shirt and red shorts.

Detective Constable Robert Urquhart, from Paisley CID, said: "This incident saw a teenager sustain a serious facial injury and it is vital we trace the individual responsible.
"Extensive enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone with any information which may assist us to get in touch.
"I would also ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage to contact us."
