School holiday tomorrow: Students and parents are checking whether schools and colleges will remain closed on Friday, September 18, 2026. The holiday status varies across states, with Vishwakarma Puja in West Bengal and the ongoing Ganeshotsav period in Maharashtra affecting school schedules.
As September 18 falls on a Friday, students whose institutions observe a holiday could get a long weekend until Sunday, September 20. However, school and college calendars can differ, so students should check their institution's latest notice before assuming there is a holiday.
