School holiday dates and term times in Wales for 2022

With a date which changes ever year, knowing when Easter comes around can leave people reaching for the calendar each springtime.

It can be particularly troublesome for parents, who need to know when the school holidays are coming.

So, here's a guide to term times for Wales, not just over Easter, but also for the rest of the year. Parents should be aware, however, that local authorities will have differing inset days, which will impact the days on which schools will be closed to children, so it is advisable to double check dates on their respective websites.
